The made in England scraper comes pre-sharpened and will hold an edge for multiple rods. It can also, when necessary, be sharpened with a burnisher.
The steel wool is a brand we have been using for years. It is perfect for removing any fine particles of varnish and will leave behind a perfectly smooth surface that is ready for finish.
